Mahogany Crotch
Description : A lustrous rainbow in glorious shades of brown. Typically used in accenting door faces in mahogany joinery work. While larger pieces are butt matched to extend length for conference/ dinning tables.
South American and African Mahogany trees both produce crotch. Obtained from the forks of trees. Mahogany crotch takes any surface treatment well. Transparent or tinted varnishes, the coloring becomes more and more beautiful with age and nobler in appearance.
Stocking: In stock in various sizes from 12" x 20" to 28" x 76" in a two ply for easy veneering and greater impact resistance.
