Description
At Roberts Plywood we take great pride in the quality of the Birdseye Maple
selected for our inventory. Birds Eye forms around the log due to “sleeping bud
growth,” this shows as small dots in the wood. Other causes are: -Parasite fungi
which causes irregularity in the cambium. -Birdseye develop when the tree grows
on barren and rocky ground. -Genetics Birds Eye Maple is used in the highest
quality custom cabinetry, paneling, furniture, and marguetry. Very popular to
stain. Very expensive. Grown in the northern parts of North America.
